Pros

Competitor Pros of Gestion PME
QuickBooks Gestion PME sells fixed term licences in Canadian dollars: C$129.99 buys the invoicing edition for a year, and the range runs to C$1,499.99 for the point of sale edition over two years. QuickBooks Canada bills monthly instead, C$30 for EasyStart, C$110 for Plus and C$220 for Advanced, and its public sheet now lists only those three tiers. GST and QST reporting here maps to Revenu Québec and federal forms, and the barcode edition at C$599.99 adds counter scanning that is not part of the QuickBooks Canada plan sheet at all.
FreshBooks FreshBooks charges in US dollars, US$23 a month for Lite with a five client cap and US$11 for each additional team member. Gestion PME’s self employed edition is a single C$329.99 purchase covering two years, holding customers, suppliers, employees and inventory in the same file. Quebec sales tax reporting is built in rather than bolted on, and there is a 30 day trial before any money changes hands.
Wave Wave’s Starter plan is free and Pro is C$25 a month or C$250 a year in Canada, with receipt scanning and payroll charged as extras on top. Gestion PME charges once, C$429.99 for the incorporated edition over two years, and includes barcode and point of sale options plus Quebec payroll modules that Wave’s add on list does not carry. For a retail counter in Quebec, that is a different product rather than a cheaper one.

Cons

Competitor Cons of Gestion PME
QuickBooks QuickBooks Canada runs in a browser and on mobile, with a published path to 25 users at Advanced, an app marketplace and updates that arrive on their own. Gestion PME is a Windows desktop install from Winfly Informatique, its licences expire at the end of the one or two year term, and its site carries no integration directory. The closest thing to a public product sheet is a set of PHP checkout pages.
FreshBooks FreshBooks publishes a mobile app, a client portal and proposals and retainers from its US$43 Plus tier, with payroll at US$40 a month plus US$6 per user. Gestion PME lists no mobile app, and its interface and documentation are French first for a Quebec audience. Time tracking and project management, which FreshBooks builds in, are not part of any edition here.
Wave Wave costs nothing to start and needs only a browser, while the cheapest way into Gestion PME is C$129.99 for a one year invoicing licence and the retail editions reach four figures. Gestion PME also carries almost no public review record, so there is no independent score to weigh against Wave’s. A micro business sending a few invoices a month would be buying barcode and point of sale depth it will never open.
