Every tool page on MAQTOOB follows the same structure: an overview, key features, current pricing, and pros and cons against competitors. Where public user feedback exists, a Reviews section summarizes it. This page explains where that information comes from and what we do and do not do.
Where the Information Comes From
Overviews, feature lists, and pricing come from each vendor’s official website, pricing page, and documentation. When a vendor publishes recognition from analyst firms or industry reports, we cite it as the vendor’s claim. Pricing changes often, so we link to the vendor’s own pricing page from each listing so you can confirm the current numbers.
How Review Summaries Work
We do not write reviews ourselves and we do not accept reviews submitted by vendors. Where a tool has real public feedback, its Reviews section summarizes what actual users have said: Reddit threads, independent review blogs, and established review platforms. Each summary names its source. Newer or niche tools often have no meaningful public feedback yet; in that case the page carries no Reviews section rather than an invented one. We aim to include critical voices as well as positive ones, because that is what you would find if you did the digging yourself.
How Comparisons Work
The Pros and Cons sections compare each tool with its closest competitors on published features, pricing, and recurring themes in user feedback. They are editorial judgments based on that public record, not on paid input from any vendor.
What We Don’t Do
- Vendors cannot pay for a better description, a softer Cons section, or a higher placement in a category.
- We do not remove honest criticism at a vendor’s request. We do correct factual errors.
- If a listing is ever sponsored or a link is ever paid for, it is labeled as such.
Corrections
Listings are compiled and reviewed by James Han, the site’s publisher. If you find outdated pricing, a discontinued plan, or anything else that is wrong, write to in**@*****ob.com or use the contact page. Corrections are made to the listing itself, not buried in comments.
