Snov.io Free Email Verifier

Free email verification tool ensuring clean lists and improved deliverability

Updated July 29, 2026

Snov.io Free Email Verifier Overview

Snov.io’s Email Verifier is a cloud-based validation tool built to cut bounce rates and protect sender reputation. It checks format, domain, MX records and server response through a seven-step process, and Snov.io reports bounce rates as low as 1.72% on verified lists.

The verifier is not sold on its own. It runs on Snov.io credits, so a free account gets 50 checks refreshed monthly and heavier use means moving onto one of the paid Snov.io plans, which also cover lead generation, warm-up and outreach.

Key Features

  • 7-Tier Email Verification: Validates emails through syntax, domain, MX, SMTP and advanced risk checks, which Snov.io says delivers 98%+ accuracy.
  • Bulk Email Verifier: Cleans large email lists quickly to reduce bounce rates before campaigns, and is available on the free plan.
  • Email Verifier API: Integrates verification directly into sign-up forms, Google Sheets and internal systems.
  • Chrome Extension: Verifies email addresses instantly while browsing websites or LinkedIn.
  • Bounce Risk Detection: Flags risky, catch-all, auto-generated or disposable email addresses.
  • Recurring Free Credits: A free account gets 50 credits at the start of every month, with one credit spent per verified address and no card required.

Pricing

Snov.io does not sell the Email Verifier as a standalone product. Verification runs on Snov.io credits at 1 credit per address, so the plans below are the Snov.io Sales Suite tiers that fund it. Prices shown are the monthly list rates; an annual subscription takes 25% off.

Pros

Pros

ZeroBounce Snov.io’s credits cover email finding, prospect search and verification from one balance, so a small sales team does not need a separate prospecting subscription alongside a validation one. ZeroBounce’s free tier is bigger at 100 validation credits a month against Snov.io’s 50, but those credits only validate; they cannot find an address in the first place.
NeverBounce Compared to NeverBounce, Snov.io offers a far broader feature set beyond verification, including lead generation, email warm-up and cold email automation. That makes it more convenient for sales teams that want verification tightly integrated into daily prospecting rather than bolted on as a separate cleaning step.
Hunter.io Snov.io bundles bulk verification, warm-up, deliverability checks and outreach automation, where Hunter.io stays closer to email discovery with verification attached. Snov.io also refreshes its free credits monthly rather than handing out a one-off trial, so a light user can stay on the free tier indefinitely while still getting the bulk verifier and the Chrome extension.
Kickbox Snov.io is easier for non-technical users because verification lives in the same interface as the CRM and campaigns. Kickbox sells verification alone on a volume ladder, so a team that also needs finding, warm-up and sending would be buying two or three products to match one Snov.io plan.
Clearout Compared to Clearout, Snov.io delivers stronger sales-oriented features such as email warm-up, sender reputation checks and inbox placement testing. That suits outbound teams that need verification plus ongoing deliverability management rather than a one-off list clean.

Cons

Competitor

Cons

ZeroBounce ZeroBounce provides more detailed verification labels and data enrichment, and its free tier hands out twice as many validation credits. Snov.io’s results can feel less granular for enterprises that rely on fine-grained risk categorization.
NeverBounce NeverBounce is known for very high verification accuracy at scale. Snov.io reviewers on G2 flag the credit system as limiting for larger campaigns, and the cost climbs quickly if you are cleaning big lists every month.
Hunter.io Hunter.io’s interface is more minimal and focused, and its free plan stretches to roughly 100 verifications a month against Snov.io’s 50. Snov.io can feel overwhelming for someone who only wants to check addresses without the CRM, automation and lead generation around it.
Kickbox Kickbox specializes purely in verification and prices it plainly: 100 checks free, then $10 for 1,000, $70 for 10,000 and $275 for 50,000. Snov.io buries the same job inside monthly plans, so occasional cleaners pay for capacity they will not use.
Clearout Clearout offers clearer per-email pricing. Snov.io’s credit system is harder to forecast because the same balance is drawn down by prospect search, email search and verification alike.

Reviews

  • CCapterra Review (Rating: 4.5/5 from 215 reviews): A reviewer who uses Snov.io specifically to find and verify email leads praised the bulk verifier for saving time and the pipelines for existing prospects, while calling the wider product “a tool with limited functionality” if you want full multichannel marketing. A five-star reviewer said the feature list is packed and support over email, chat and Google Meet has been outstanding. The one-star end is blunt: one buyer reported a buggy platform, duplicate contacts and no click tracking after spending $100.
  • G2 Review (Rating: 4.5/5 from 495 reviews): G2’s summary of its own reviews says users consistently praise the ease of use and the way verification, automation and CRM sit in one interface, but that the credit system “can be limiting” for larger campaigns. One reviewer described finding leads through the LinkedIn extension, verifying them and dropping them into an automated campaign in minutes without switching tools. The same reviewer noted that reporting and analytics need work and the interface “can feel slightly cluttered when managing multiple campaigns.”
  • Trustpilot Review (Rating: 4.7/5 from 1,562 reviews): Reviewers repeatedly credit named support and onboarding staff with fixing list hygiene, inbox placement and technical deliverability problems. A recurring five-star theme is that the Email Finder and Verifier work well together and that the interface is clean from the first session. Recent one-star reviews complain about app downtime and about unsolicited sales texts from Snov.io staff.
